v0.1.5 - ModelNode Base Class & Bvh Support

New Features

ModelNode Base Class

All 3D model loaders now inherit from a shared ModelNode base class, documenting the common props across all formats:

python
from vuer.schemas import ModelNode, Glb, Urdf, Bvh

# All model loaders share these props:
# src, text, buff, assets, hide, onLoad, materialType, material,
# color, opacity, wireframe, visible, castShadow, receiveShadow,
# frustumCulled, renderOrder, position, rotation, quaternion, scale

issubclass(Glb, ModelNode)   # True
issubclass(Urdf, ModelNode)  # True
issubclass(Bvh, ModelNode)   # True

Bvh Component

New Bvh component for loading BVH (Biovision Hierarchy) motion capture data:

python
from vuer.schemas import Bvh

# Load motion capture animation
Bvh(
    src="https://example.com/walk.bvh",
    playAnimation=True,
    animationSpeed=1.0,
    boneRadius=0.02,
    jointColor="#ff6600",
    key="mocap",
)

# Or load from text
Bvh(text=bvh_content, key="mocap-inline")

Bvh Parameters:

  • src / text — URL or inline BVH content
  • playAnimation — Auto-play animation (default: True)
  • animationSpeed — Playback speed multiplier
  • boneRadius — Bone cylinder radius
  • jointColor — Joint sphere color
  • label — Show joint name labels

Improvements

  • Standardized Obj initializationObj now uses the consistent kwargs pattern like all other model classes
  • Improved docstringsFbx, Stl, Dae, Glb, CoordsMarker, and Arrow have proper param/type notation and example usage blocks
